You may receive a free copy of your report if you have been denied credit within the past 60 days. Just ask the company that denied you credit for the name and phone number of the credit reporting agency they used. You may also qualify for a free credit report if you are on welfare; you're unemployed and plan to look for a job within 60 days; or your report is inaccurate because of fraud.
